To install Kapturall’s ClearBit Flow Action service in Marketo, you’ll need to enter the installation URL, which is https://actions.kapturall.com/install/clearbit, in the Service Providers menu of your Admin Section.
https://actions.kapturall.com/install/clearbit
Make sure you have Admin permissions in Marketo, as custom flow step installation requires these permissions.
Once you’ve entered the URL, click “Next” to proceed to the Enter Service Credentials section.
The outgoing fields here are email (required) and ip_address. Passing the IP Address is strongly recommended to improve match rates.
ClearBit’s Enrichment API Endpoint returns a large amount of data. With the inbound mapping rules you can control what data will flow back into the person record and which fields will store that data. Remember you will need to set the field to “Active” and set a Marketo Field. For more information about the incoming data you can reference the ClearBit API documentation.
Enter your ClearBit API key in the given field. You can see your API key in your account here.
If you don’t have a key, you can create a free account.
After initial onboarding, you can always edit the service details as needed by accessing the service detail screen from the Service Providers grid.
Once installed you should see the Enrich with ClearBit flow action available inside of the smart campaign flow steps.
When added to a flow the only parameter is Use IP Address which we recommend to set to true to improve match rates.
You should also see the trigger and filter associated with the ClearBit Flow.
